🌳 Fort Willow Conservation Hike 🥾

Located at the western end of the Nine Mile Portage Trail, Fort Willow Conservation Area is a fascinating destination that seamlessly combines natural beauty with rich heritage.

Once a strategic supply depot during the War of 1812, the site has been carefully restored and now features interpretive signage, shaded walking trails, and sweeping views of surrounding wetlands and forests. It also serves as a central hub for both the Trans Canada Trail and the Ganaraska Trail, making it an ideal launch point for longer hikes.

Whether you're interested in history, nature, or both, Fort Willow offers a peaceful and enriching outdoor experience.
