♻️ Clean and Green Barrie Community Cleanup

Clean and Green Barrie is a community-wide initiative that inspires residents, community organizations and businesses to take pride in the places where they live, work, and play by joining together to keep our beautiful city litter-free. It is an opportunity to raise environmental awareness and promote social responsibility through hands-on participation—both during the event and beyond.    

Community groups, sports teams, neighbourhood associations, families, and individuals are invited to clean public spaces across Barrie such as a neighbourhood park, ravine or trail. By registering, you will receive special collection bags and the garbage will be collected at pre-determined designated drop-off areas.

🌲 Community Tree Planting @ D’Ambrosio Park

No experience required. Community planting events are open to the public. This October, Living Green Barrie is calling all newcomers, students, families, groups and individuals to plant trees. Bond with friends and family as you plant and name and visit your trees.

The event is free but please register so the team knows how many shovels and trees to bring.
