š° DISNEY-THEMED KIDS SESSION | Ages 4+
Step into a magical world of dance with Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop Sampler, Contemporary & Musical Theatre! Recital and non-recital options are available! Kids classes begin Friday, January 15th, 2027!
Whether your dancer is taking their first steps or ready to explore a new style, thereās something for everyone!

Reminder: Itās Textile Collection Week š
Help keep reusable items out of the landfill by participating in Textile Collection Week. How to Participate:
Confirm your textile collection day (itās a different day than your regular collection day for organics, recycling and garbage). See the collection schedule below and visit recyclingrewards.com/barrie for a map.
Place your items in a bag (preferably a clear bag, but if you donāt have a clear bag, you can use any type of waterproof plastic bag) and put a label on the bag that says ātextilesā. There is no limit to the number of bags you can donate.
Put your items out on the curb on your textile collection day by 7am, rain or shine. The bags will be picked up by Recycling Rewards trucks before 5pmĀ on your textile collection day.
š Barrie Fire Takeover + Kids Workshop @ Home Depot
Barrie Fire and Emergency Service will be promoting Fire Prevention Week⢠with a Barrie Fire Takeover + Kids Workshop. It's the typical Saturday morning kids workshop at Home Depot but with a fire safety spin. There will be a fire truck on hand and a table with information tied into the theme this year's Fire Prevention Week theme: āCharge Into Fire Safetyā¢. Safe Charging Is a Superpowerā focusing on the everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer. The City's Environmental Services team will also be on site to help answer questions about proper disposal of lithium ion batteries.

šØāš¾ Fall Festival Weekend @ Chappell Farms
From late September all the way until Halloween, Chappell Farms offers our Fall Festival! Itās an amazing place for kids and adults alike! Come visit our animals, run up to our amazing lookout, explore the sunflower maze, ride on the tricycle track and pick your perfect pumpkin. There is plenty of room to just run and play in the fresh air!
š Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until Oct 31st.
š $ Admission includes one pick-your-own pumpkin. Free entry for children under 2.

On a brisk day, thereās nothing more soothing than chopping and simmering vegetables over a warm stove.
