Bring your skates, your family, and your giving spirit to this fun and festive celebration.  

• FREE family skating 

• Complimentary pizza and refreshments 

• Meet and greet with Mayor Alex Nuttall and members of City Council. 

This event will take place at TWO locations/times: 

• East Bayfield Community Centre 
  80 Livingstone Street East 
  11am–1pm 

• Allandale Recreation Centre 
  190 Bayview Drive 
  1:30–3:30pm

There will be non-perishable food donation collections for the Barrie Food Bank on site. 

🦉 Christmas Bird Count for Kids @ Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre

What do dinosaurs, Pokemon, and Birds have in common? 

Learn some wild names, fun facts, and build ID skills as part of the Christmas Bird Count for Kids at Wye Marsh. This Citizen Science event is designed to foster a life-long passion for the great outdoors and our incredibly diverse bird communities.   

• 10:00 am ~ 2 pm Crafts, Display Hall

• 10:30 am Binocular Drill & Birding Basics, Display Hall

• 11:00 ~ 12 noon Discovery Hike –– An Introduction to Birding

• 12:30 pm Fascinating Feathers, Display Hall 

• 1:00 pm Feature Creature, Display Hall

• 3:00 pm  Discovery Hike, Meet at Back Patio

🦘 Get active at the Public Jump Pop Up @ Vertical Zone

You get access to the whole gym for the full 60 minutes time slot!

Public Jumps are self-directed and will offer participants of all ages a chance to work on developing their skills in the sport of trampoline! NCCP certified coaches will be available to assess and work with jumpers to learn skills that are appropriate to each individual’s ability. If ready to register in any of Vertical Zone’s recreational programs, coaches will gladly recommend next steps.
