Let’s get to it!
🎭 Barrie Theatre Festival @ Theatre by the Bay
10 Days. 6 Productions. One Great City. For ten days each June, Barrie becomes a destination for professional live theatre.
Perfect for: Theatre lovers, curious audiences, cultural explorers, weekday and weekend getaways, and anyone who enjoys discovering something new. The Barrie Theatre Festival, presented by Tourism Barrie, is a carefully curated celebration of storytelling — bringing together acclaimed touring artists, bold new Canadian work, and performances selected for their artistic excellence and audience appeal.
This is not an open-call fringe. Each production is chosen with intention — to surprise, to entertain, and to create conversation. The 2026 Festival features nationally touring artists, a Broadway performer whose journey began in Barrie, and original works created in Central Ontario. Each show runs under an hour, allowing you to experience multiple productions in a single visit.
📅 Thursday June 4th to Saturday June 13th. Showtimes vary.

How High Are Art Prices Today? The Latest from Spring Auctions…
How High Are Art Prices Today? The Latest from Spring Auctions…
$85,800,000 for a Rothko
$98,385,000 for ANOTHER Rothko
$107,585,000 for a Brancusi sculpture
$181,200,000 for a Pollock
Sounds crazy, but those masterpieces were once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for the ultra-rich buyers. Postwar contemporary art’s scarcity is largely what’s driven appreciation that’s comparable to even the S&P over the last thirty years.*
Obviously, art investing is out of reach for most people.
But since 2017, Masterworks has taken a data-driven approach to investing in art, making it accessible to individual investors.
Masterworks members can invest in shares of artwork by Rothko, Basquiat, Warhol, and others. When a piece sells, they get a share of the proceeds.
Over $1.2 billion has been deployed across over 500+ artworks. And 29 exits to-date have delivered net annualized returns like 16.5%, 17.6% and 17.8% on pieces held longer than a year, not including those unsold.

Every race wraps with a podium for each category, awarding the top three riders. Race a single event and chase your best time, or stack your results across the series and go after the overall points title at the end of the season.
📆 Sunday June 7th - 4 p.m. race start.
📍 Horseshoe Valley - 1101 Horseshoe Valley Rd. W. Barrie.
