🍁 🍂 🌞 Family Fall Hike @ Oro-Medonte Rail Trail
This week’s featured trail is the Oro Medonte Rail Trail which runs from Barrie to Orillia. The rail line opened on December 8, 1871 but was decommissioned in the 1960s and turned into a flat crushed gravel trail perfect for walking, biking and exploring the natural Southern Ontario habitat. Keep an eye out for osprey, herons, deer, owls, foxes and more.
Up to 28km | Difficulty: Easy
🚗 Park at the First Line South Shanty Bay Road or 15th Line.
🎨 Kids Night Out (Parents Night Off)
Enjoy a kids night out at the Paint Bar. While kids get to paint pottery, play games and watch movies, parents get the evening off to enjoy some free time. Ages 4-13. $12 per child. Includes: ceramic project, 2 pizza slices, 1 drink.
⌚️ Friday, November 8th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Pre-registration required.

🤖 Free Robotics Workshop for Kids
Moonpreneur is putting on a free event for kids ages 7 to 14 where they will get an introduction to robotics and coding, perform hands-on exercises on robotics, participate in fun activities and meet other like-minded kids.
⌚️ Sunday, November 10th from 10 am to 1 pm. Meet up times vary according to child’s age. See the full list of times here for each 60 minute session.

🎫 PA Day Fun with Speaking of Wildlife
Join wildlife ambassadors on November 15th for this special PA day live-animal presentation at the Five Points Theatre. The one hour presentation features native Ontario wildlife and information about their species, adaptations and habitat. Animals include opossums, hawks, turtles, owls and more.
⌚️ 10 am to 11 am showing and 1 pm to 2 pm showing. $10 per admission.
