🎃 🏠️ Best Barrie Neighbourhoods for Trick-or-Treating
Let’s face it, there are just some neighbourhoods that go all out for halloween. If your neighbourhood doesn’t have a lot of young families, here are the best neighbourhoods to take your brood to that are guaranteed to impress with decorations.
Ardagh Bluffs West Barrie - with 5 schools and plenty of parks, this neighbourhood has packed with families and trick or treaters
Holly Meadows South West Barrie - parks, schools and the community centre attracts families galore.
Barrie South East / Tollendal - the neighbourhood west of Wilkins Trail is home to many families and halloween aficionados.
Letitia Heights - with a mix of older century homes and newer subdivisions, this neighbourhood has a great mix of families and halloween spirit.
👻 Easy DIY Mom Costumes
Are you looking for a last minute halloween costume? 🖐️ Try these easy DIY costumes with things you have around the house:
Workout Barbie (put your hair in a high pony, grab your runners, leggings, headband and tie up any bright t-shirt)
Mama Bear (tie your hair in two buns for ears, draw on a brown nose with eyeliner and wear your biggest brownest sweater)
Morticia from the Addams Family (wear a fitting black dress, straighten your hair and put on some red lipstick)
Taylor Swift (pick your favourite era and throw on any cute dress in that colour scheme - or better yet - throw on some Kansas City Chiefs merch, put on red lipstick and call it a day)
Men In Black (borrow a suit, put on some sunglasses and order a blow up alien)
