TheĀ Barrie Ribfest X 2026 will take place on Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026 held at Heritage Park (Barrieās waterfront) in Barrie. North Americaās Best Rib Teams will be there. These āPitmastersā are ready to serve you and your friends Award-Winning, Mouth-Watering BBQ Smoked Ribs, Tender Pulled Pork, Juicy Smoked Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Sausage and those huge Beef āDinoā Ribs.
There will be a variety of festival foods like bloominā onion, roasted corn, beavertails, poutine, and of course to wash it all down nice cold beer! Watch Live Music all weekend long featuring Tributes and a variety of local bands.

This summer, take a journey through time as Living in the Past returns to the Simcoe County Museum! Every Sunday afternoon in July and August, the museumās galleries and grounds will come alive with the sights, sounds and skills of the past.
Experience history hands-on with live demonstration and interactive activities that showcase how early settlers lived and worked. Watch blacksmiths at the forge, learn the traditional crafts of rope and candle making, and try your hand at weaving and embroidery.
Perfect for families, history buffs, and curious minds of all ages, this immersive experience offers a fun and educational way to connect with Simcoe Countyās rich heritage.

Join the excitement in this weekly outdoor adventure at the Beach or Nature Preserve, where each session features a new theme and a different mix of activities - one week might spotlight a guided nature hike, another may focus on hands-on crafts, and others bring energetic outdoor games or a fun combination of all three. Families of all ages can join in, and every experience is designed to spark kids' curiosity, creativity, and love for the natural world.
