Featuring 20 unique sites, Doors Open Barrie 2025 gives residents and visitors the opportunity to go behind the scenes of places rarely open to the public, explore unique architecture, and uncover the stories that make our community special. Sites include those that are artistic, heritage, unique and usually not open for visitors to go behind the scenes and learn.

For the first time, too, Doors Open Barrie will unite with Culture Days. This collaboration welcomes the unique opportunity to participate in free, hands-on arts activities in conjunction with Doors Open site tours, giving r

esidents and visitors a chance to learn more about Barrie’s arts, culture, heritage and business communities. It’s like a garage sale but without the money exchange. Everything you place at the end of your driveway or lawn on the specified day is free for others to pick up.

Every weekend from our Fall Festival September 20th & 21st, until (and including)Thanksgiving October 11th, 12th & 13th, enjoy:
