This Halloween, a Barrie retirement home will come alive with the sounds of little ghouls and goblins.

Approximately 50 residents at Chartwell Whispering Pines will be welcoming local families to take part in their first-ever trick-or-treating event for children aged 12 and under at the Letitia Street facility on Friday, Oct. 31, beginning at 5 p.m.
